Compliance Management at Food Cluster Hamburg GmbH

As a publicly funded organization of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Food Cluster Hamburg GmbH is fully aware of its special responsibility. Compliance, integrity, and transparency form the foundation of our daily work. Therefore, compliance is a key element of our organizational culture.

Our Code of Conduct defines the principles of responsible and lawful behavior. It provides guidance for how we work together internally and how we interact with our members, partners, and the public. The Code covers topics such as integrity, fairness, anti-discrimination, data protection, public procurement, and conflicts of interest.

To ensure high standards, Food Cluster Hamburg GmbH has implemented a Compliance Management System (CMS). This includes our Code of Conduct, regular training sessions, ongoing risk assessments, and a whistleblowing system (Hintbox) that allows for confidential and anonymous reporting.

Our whistleblowing system is available to employees, members, and external partners. It enables the confidential and anonymous reporting of possible violations of laws or internal regulations.

All reports are handled with the utmost care. The protection of whistleblowers is fully guaranteed — retaliation or discrimination are strictly prohibited. All reports are reviewed under strict confidentiality by the Management (Compliance Officer) of Food Cluster Hamburg GmbH.
