Sommer Festival 2026: Networking with Great Spirits Despite the Rain

Actually, sun and lovely views were on the agenda. Instead, the weather showed its rainy side. But that didn't dampen the mood for the members, partners, and friends of Food Cluster Hamburg: this year's summer festival once again put what defines the network at its center — personal exchange, valuable conversations, and togetherness.

Numerous guests came together in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the evening with good drinks, delicious food, and many encounters. Particularly notable: despite the persistent rain, nearly all guests accepted the invitation, some even arriving completely soaked. A strong sign of the cohesion and connection within the network.

A special highlight of the evening was the tribute to Jürgen Ridder, who this year looks back on ten years of commitment as a board member of the supporting association foodactive e.V. With his experience, expertise, and open manner, he has significantly shaped the network for many years. He was warmly thanked for his long-standing dedication during the summer festival.

The summer festival once again showed how lively and valuable our network is. The strong turnout and the many personal conversations made the evening a successful event that will be remembered fondly.
